Broken Shackle Ranch is committed to helping at-risk & destitute young men better themselves, prepare for their futures, and improve their outcomes. This starts with the application process & interviewing potential youth to try and insure a good fit, and establishing attainable goals. Placement Referral Sources
The Department of Family & Children Services (DFCS)
The Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ)
Youth who stay with us voluntarily once their commitment ends
Criteria for admission are as follows:
The youth must be at least 16 years of age
He must have a current psychological evaluation (within the last 2 years)
Our program must be able to meet the needs of the applicant
He must WANT help and realize the need for change in his life
